Wilka Eco Escapes

THE BRIEF

Clayton Hinkley combined his love of all things architecture with his love of the outdoors to create what is today, Wilka Eco Escapes. We were approached by Clayton to capture the essence of their very special boutique accommodation experience via a new website purpose built for short stay bookings.

THE PROCESS

Clayton first came to us with a very specific idea in mind for the online experience. It all came down to building a connection - through words, imagery and ease of use.

We collaborated with Flip Films to capture the ultimate sensory experience using video and sound. Beautiful, cinematic content that welcomed guests into the world of Wilka, the perfect virtual ‘front desk’ for guest bookings.

Every brand touch point of the guest experience was considered, from the design of the website and layout of information, to the integrated booking system, messaging in guest emails, FAQs, gift vouchers and accommodation instructions, all carefully executed to ensure a seamless experience.

THE OUTCOME

Within three months of launch Wilka Eco Escapes reached 80% occupancy. The integrated booking system has also grown extending to Riparide and Bookings.com. Their launch reel art directed by Camille Agency and shot by Flip Films received over 150k views. The business continues to expand, with three new locations launching in 2025. Current occupancy rate is at 92%
